"Spoken Word" is anything that moves you to stand in front of others and speak your mind. Artistic, thoughtful, creative - it could be a wonderfully worded literary pronouncement on the nature of something like...the environment, or it could be an emotional recollection of the arrangement of words and concepts to evoke - meaning. It is also the practice of gaining confidence to inform others about the qualities that make us human.
